Meghan Trainor’s new music video is fierce ’90s at its finest

Meghan Trainor’s transformation into pop vixen is finally complete after the premiere of her new music video.

The singer-songwriter has channelled turn-of-the-millennium fierceness in the visual for her current single ‘No’, which looks like something Britney Spears would’ve done back in the day.

From the choreographed routine, early ’00s style, and light wind machine, to the warehouse setting and metallic jacket, it’s a video that has everything a pop fan dreams of.

‘No’ is the lead single to be lifted from Meghan Trainor’s forthcoming new album Thank You.

The collection will be released on May 13 through Sony Music’s Epic Records.

It serves as the follow-up to Trainor’s chart-topping debut Title, which was released back in January 2014.

That album spawned the hits ‘All About That Bass’, ‘Lips Are Movin” and ‘Dear Future Husband’, as well as winning Trainor a Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
