Justin Timberlake to perform at Eurovision

Timberlake will bring sexy to Eurovision for perhaps the first ever time

 

Justin Timberlake will become the first ever act who isn’t a competitor to play the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm on 14 May.

The ex-NSYNC man is due to perform his new single – “Can’t Stop the Feeling” – live for the first time.

It’s JT’s first new music in more thane two years, and it’s already hit number one in more than 50 countries worldwide, according to Billboard. The song which is featured on the soundtrack to Dreamworks’ upcoming Trolls movie. Watch it below:

Sven Stojanovic, one of show’s producers, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity, we are very happy and excited that Justin Timberlake will perform his new song together with his band in our show. It makes it extra special that the Swedish songwriters Max Martin and Shellback have co-written and co-produced the song together with Justin Timberlake.”

Timberlake’s performance will be broadcast in nearly 50 countries to a massive audience of more than 200m viewers which already extends as far as Australia, who have an entry via special invitation, as well as China, Kazakhstan, New Zealand and the United States. 42 countries are competing in the 60-year-old contest, with Britain’s entry this year being Joe and Jake, who will perform “You’re Not Alone”.

Timberlake is believed to be working on a follow-up to his two 2013 20/20 “Experience” albums.
