World Chart Show – Year-End Chart 1997

1997 was a year filled with unforgettable hits and a dazzling constellation of global stars, as The World Chart Show year-end countdown celebrated an incredible diversity of music. From pop superstars and rock legends to dancefloor anthems and heartfelt ballads, the year captured the magic of ’90s music at its peak.

The Spice Girls became a global sensation, spreading “Girl Power” with hits like “Wannabe” and “2 Become 1.” No Doubt solidified their status with “Don’t Speak,” a ballad that became an anthem for heartbreak. Jamiroquai took funk and acid jazz mainstream with “Virtual Insanity,” while Simply Red delivered soulful charm with “Angel”
