Orlando Bloom treated his rumoured girlfriend Katy Perry to a road trip across the U.K. after introducing her to his mother.
The Lord of the Rings star has been linked to singer Katy since January (16), when they partied together after the 2016 Golden Globes.
They have yet to comment on reports of their budding romance, but they appeared to let their actions speak louder than words last month (Feb16), when they put on a number of public displays of affection (PDA) for the first time while on vacation in Hawaii.
The stars have since stepped up their relationship, proving they are serious about one another by jetting to the U.K., where Katy met her beau’s family and friends. The trip also included a low-key pub date at the Stag and Huntsman in Buckinghamshire, where loved-up Orlando introduced Katy to his mum, Sonia, reports Britain’s The Mirror.
A source tells People.com the new couple then embarked on a mini-vacation, checking out the English countryside.
“They flew private jet with Orlando’s friends from London to another part of England and then drove all over the place for a week,” says the insider.
The Firework singer, 31, and 39-year-old Orlando returned to Los Angeles on Saturday (12Mar16), but despite their cosy getaway, they were reluctant to be photographed together and left the airport separately. Katy tried to cover up in a big black coat, sunglasses and cap, while in contrast, Orlando smiled widely for the cameras as he strolled out of the arrivals terminal.
The reported romance is Katy’s latest high-profile relationship. She was previously married to British comedian Russell Brand, while she went on to date the likes of Diplo and John Mayer following their 2012 divorce.
Meanwhile, Orlando was wed to Australian model Miranda Kerr, the mother of his five-year-old son Flynn. They separated in 2013 after three years as husband and wife.
