‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ part two, please.
If Nicole Scherzinger returning to The X Factor later this year wasn’t good news enough, she’s now confirmed that there’s also a brand new album on the way too.
The singer is currently in the studio recording new music, which will serve as the follow-up to 2014’s Big Fat Lie.
Scherzy revealed the news with a lovely picture of her sushi lunch, moments after it was announced that she will be heading back to The X Factor this summer.
The former Pussycat Doll will join Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh for the 13th series of the ITV talent show, while Dermot O’Leary is also back as host.
It’s safe to assume that a new album is bound to be released to coincide with her return to Saturday night television. We’re already excited for the inevitable X Factor performance.
“I’ve got a new deal coming out. It was rumoured all this year that I was dropped and I actually wasn’t dropped,” Scherzy said last September.
“I was signing a new deal with another label. We’re still working on finalising the contract, which I am unable to speak too much about.
“I’m really excited about this project and new music that I’m putting together, and which will be released next year.”
The popstar has also landed a role in ABC’s remake of ’80s classic Dirty Dancing as Penny.
