JingleBank: Commercial Jingles as a Sales Tool

TM Century’s experience in station jingles also extended into commercial advertising through JingleBank.com.

The service was developed for radio, television, cable, new media and advertising agencies. It allowed subscribers to audition a large catalog of commercial jingles and license only the productions they successfully sold to clients.

This model turned the jingle library into both a creative resource and a potential revenue-generating tool.

Subscribers could use ready-made generic jingles, request customized lyrics based on an existing composition or commission completely original productions.

The available options included:

Generic Jingles

These were pre-produced compositions with adaptable lyrics for common business categories, such as cleaners, automotive dealers or retail stores.

Customized Jingles

TM Century could rewrite and record the lyrics of an existing generic production to match the identity and message of a particular advertiser.

Full Custom Productions

For clients requiring a completely original campaign, the company could create a jingle from the beginning.

JingleBank also offered campaign jingles that could incorporate several paying sponsors within the same production. A recruitment-themed campaign, for example, could be adapted for multiple advertisers.

The service reflected TM Century’s understanding that production tools had to support not only the station’s sound, but also its commercial objectives.
