Zara Larsson & MNEK’s “Never Forget You” is rapidly gaining airplay at US pop radio.
That rising level of airplay is fueling a corresponding gain in sales.
As of press time (1AM ET Wednesday), the international hit is #15 on the US iTunes sales chart and on the verge of overtaking Lady Gaga’s “Til It Happens To You” for #14.
“Never Forget You” was outside of the Top 20 as recently as late Monday night. It had only just cracked the Top 30 late Saturday night.
An international hit, “Never Forget You” is serving as a US breakthrough for both Larsson and MNEK. The song entered the Top 60 on the most recent edition of the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100; given the rate at which it is gaining in sales and airplay, it is set to move even higher next week.
